tegration-led growth, deeper customer engage-

The project also includes the sale of the produc-
tion site in Vlissingen, the Netherlands, which
employs around 50 people. Arkema, whose
stated strategy is to refocus on higher value-
added specialty materials, will retain its Mobile
site (United States) and all of its AIMPA activi-
ties on the American continent. The transaction
is expected to be finalised in the first quarter of
2026.
This announcement follows a major acquisition
by Praana in 2024, with the purchase of Owens
Corning’s Glass Reinforcements business for
approximately $755 million (€642 million). This
transaction has enabled the Indian group to posi-
tion itself as a leading global player in glass fibre
reinforcements, particularly for the construction,
wind energy and transport sectors.
Founded in 1956, the Praana Group is now an
international industrial group specialising in spe-
cialty chemicals and composite materials. It is
supported by several complementary subsidiar-
ies, including Sterling Specialty Chemicals, Gal-
ata Chemicals, Artek Surfin Chemicals and 3B
Fibreglass.
By combining specialty chemicals and advanced
materials, Praana provides high value-added so-
lutions for the construction, automotive, textile,
cleaning, personal care and many industrial sec-
tors.
