AIPMA Job Fair Season 2019- Mumbai - A Report

Chairman – AIPMA Job Fair Season 2019

he Mumbai AIPMA Job Fair 2019 was held on Saturday,
Tthe 29th June, 2019 at AIPMA House.
We had a very good Job Fair with total 10 visiting
Employers from different sectors of the Plastic Industry.
As per our track record, 8 Companies were successful in
shortlisting the Candidates. There were more than 110
candidates visited the Job Fair. More candidates wanted
to come for the interview but due to heavy rains they
could not reach the venue, so we arranged telephonic
interview. More than 25 Candidates were shortlisted for
next round of interview and 6 Candidates were appointed
on the spot.
Remarks by the Chairman – Dr. Asutosh Gor:

• The employment demand in the Plastic Industry is
low at this moment.

• The demand in Western India is maximum on the
Marketing side
• Especially the demand from the Companies related
to Pipes & Automobiles sector which usually 30% of The inauguration was done by lighting of the Lamp by
our shows was missing this time. the Dr. Asutosh Gor - Chairman Job Fair, Mr. Kishore

• The Candidates from faraway place like Goa, Sampat – V.P. West, Mr. Yash Shah – Co-Chairman Job Fair,
Jalgaon, etc. visited and went successfully. Mr. Harshad Desai – Chairman Seminar & Conferences,
Ms. Umaa Gupta – Secretary General, Mr. Ajay Gehi -

Mr. Yash Shah – Co-Chairman, Job Fair 2019 supported
in organizing the Job Fair efficiently. He appraised the
candidates about the significance of the Job Fair in their
Career.
Vote of Thanks was given by Dr. Asutosh Gor – Chairman
Job Fair 2019. In his speech he thanked Mr. Kishore
Sampat – V.P. West and Mr. Yash Shah for the efforts done
by them. A special thanks was given to Ms. Minal Parmar
for bringing Employers and Candidates for the Job Fair
and making it a grand success. He also thanked all the
staff for their support and co-operation for the same.
