AIPMA'S AMTEC AT WORK

AIPMA’s AMTEC helps the Industry with providing training and upskilling the manpower in
the fields of Reverse Engineering, Tool, mould, Product design and development, Additive
manufacturing (3D Printing), plastics packaging, testing services, training on hot runner systems
and industrial management programmes. Since trained manpower brings in significant benefits,
many industries recruit them for various functions including Design, Planning, Production,
Quality, Sales & Marketing, Service & support, etc., Few industries depute their new recruits to
undergo these courses, thereby reducing the orientation time to the minimum.
Highlights of AIPMA’s AMTEC activities in the month of June 2023:

The Certificate Distribution Program was conducted on 7th June’23 at AIPMA’s AMTEC. This
Program was arranged for the students of Don Bosco ITI, Kurla and Shardashram ITI, Dadar had
successfully completed the Tool, Mould & Product Design Course on NX CAD Software and 3D
Printing Basic Course. Students of both Colleges who were part of this course were awarded
with Certificate of Skill India- NSDC & Certificate from AMTEC.
Orientation on ‘Opportunities in Plastic Industry’ and AMTEC courses conducted at Bombay
Technical School of Engineering, Girgaon on 15th June’23. It was attended by 42 students from
Civil Draughtsman & Mechanical Draughtsman trades along with their faculties.
Orientation on ‘Opportunities in Plastic Industry’ and AMTEC courses conducted at Shad Adam
Private ITI, Bhiwandi on 19th June’23. This was attended by ITI students from various trades.

In the month of May, MoU was signed between Annasaheb Vartak College of Arts, Commerce,
Science, Vasai and AIPMA’s AMTEC. The seminars on ‘Opportunities in Plastic Industry’ and
AMTEC courses were arranged batch wise for students of B.Com, B.A, B.BA, B.Sc, etc. These
seminars were conducted by Center Head and marketing team at Vartak Campus on 27 June
th
2023. Total 217 students attended the seminar from all branches.
