AIPMA'S AMTEC AT WORK




          AIPMA’s AMTEC helps the Industry with providing training and upskilling the manpower in
            fi  o  R  Engineering,  Tool,  mould,  Produc  design  an  development,
          manufacturing (3D Printing), plastics packaging, testing services, training on hot runner systems
          and industrial management programmes. Since trained manpower brings in significant benefits,
          many industries recruit them for various functions including Design, Planning, Production,
          Quality, Sales & Marketing, Service & support, etc., Few industries depute their new recruits to
          undergo these courses, thereby reducing the orientation time to the minimum.

          Highlights of AIPMA’s AMTEC activities in the month of May 2023:
          Orientation on ‘Opportunities in Plastic Industry’ and AMTEC courses conducted at Ambernath
          ITI on 4th May 2023. This was attended by 53 ITI students from various trades.

          Industrial Visit of M H Saboo Siddik Pvt ITI, Byculla conducted at AIPMA’s AMTEC on
          11th May 2023 along with their faculties.

          22 ITI Students successfully completed their training of UG NX CAD and 3 D Printing Basic.

          13 industry professionals successfully completed one month online Executive Development
          Programme on Plastics in Packaging with our knowledge partner FIPS.

          Hot runner machinery from Yudo arrived at AMTEC for training purpose.

          AMTEC has signed MoU with Vartak college, Vasai for our skilling programs.

          1 st  Technology Conference  for Growth of Plastic Industry on Import Substitution of
          Plastic Goods organized was organized on 26th May, 2023 at India Habitat Centre, New
          Delhi.  This conference was attended by more than 400 industries including senior government
          officials, visionaries of the industry, researchers and entrepreneurs. The Technology Conference
          was inaugurated by Guest of honour Shri Arun Baroka, Secretary, Department of Chemicals and
          Petrochemicals, Govt. of India, and Special guest of honour Ms. Mercy Epao, Joint Secretary,
          Ministry of MSME, Govt. of India and various industry luminaries. Shri Arun Baroka, enlighten
          about the AIPMA’s work on listing out 553 imported plastic goods and also congratulated for
          organising this conference.
