            WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY CELEBRATED AT AIPMA’S

                                                             to emergency commitment
                                                             he could not attend the event
          but deputed Mr. Mahesh Kale – Police Inspector Cyber-crime, Mumbai, attended
          the event with his team Mr.Pramod Kotwad:  Police Sub Inspector and Police
          Home  guard.  Mr.  Kale  requested  with  the  celebration  to  have  a  key  session
          on Awareness in cyber-crime and its prevention to brief to the students and
          AIPMA/AMTEC staff.

          Mr. Mahesh Kale, Police Inspector, Cyber Crime, Mumbai then briefed the at-
          tendees with twin themes of environmental responsibility and digital safety. Mr.
          Pramod Kotwad delivered an insightful and engaging presentation on cyber-
          crime, a pressing issue in today’s increasingly digital world. His session covered
          key areas including:

          1.  Common types of cyber threats

          2.  Safety  measures  for individuals
             and businesses

          3.  Real-life case studies of cyber
             fraud

          4.  Importance  of  digital  literacy  and
             vigilance

          5.  How to avoid getting trapped into
             cybercrime

          6.  Important contact point i.e. call on 1930 or go on their website www.cyber-
             crime.gov.in to report any case of cyber crime
