THE PRESIDENT SAYS
Driving Sustainability Forward: Welcome to the 2nd Global Conclave on
Plastics Recycling & Sustainability
Dear Members of the Plastics Fraternity,
It is with immense pride and optimism that I address you today from the desk of
the President of the All India Plastics Manufacturers’ Association (AIPMA). Our
journey over the past several decades has been one of innovation, transformation,
and responsibility. Today, as the world intensifies its focus on sustainability and
circular economies, the plastics industry stands at a pivotal crossroads—one filled
with opportunity.
We at AIPMA, in collaboration with CPMA, are delighted to host the 2nd Global
Conclave on Plastics Recycling and Sustainability (GCPRS) from June 17th
to 20th, 2025, at the Bharat Mandapam, IECC (Pragati Maidan) New, Delhi.
This much-anticipated event is not just a showcase—it's a movement that
brings together recyclers, processors, brand owners, start-ups, policymakers,
researchers, and environmental leaders under one roof to explore how innovation
can lead the way to a greener tomorrow.
Why GCPRS Matters More Than Ever
The plastics recycling industry in India is witnessing a remarkable transformation.
With increasing investments, improved collection systems, and growing awareness,
India’s plastic recycling industry is poised to grow at a CAGR of over 6% from 2024
to 2030. Moreover, India currently recycles around 60% of its plastic waste, one
of the highest rates globally, and the momentum is only growing stronger with
EPR (Extended Producer Responsibility) implementation and global sustainability
mandates.
GCPRS 2025 will feature:
♦ Global insights from sustainability leaders and recyclers
♦ Technology showcases and machinery displays from leading companies
♦ Panel discussions on policy, innovation, and circular economy
♦ B2B networking opportunities for investment, supply chain partnerships, and
R&D
This conclave is a gateway to understanding the latest developments in
mechanical, chemical, and advanced recycling technologies, bio-based plastics,
and sustainable packaging innovations.
An Invitation to Be Part of the Change
I urge every stakeholder in the plastics ecosystem—manufacturers, recyclers, raw
material suppliers, students, and entrepreneurs—to join us at GCPRS 2025. Your
presence, your voice, and your vision will shape the direction of our industry.
Let us work together to ensure that plastic remains not a problem but a solution—
one that is smart, sustainable, and future-ready.
I look forward to welcoming you at the 2nd Global Conclave on Plastics Recycling
and Sustainability. Let’s unite to drive positive change.
