AIPMA's Plastic Collection Drive at Gorai Village
IPMA extended its support towards handling the
APlastic Waste by collaborating with Keshav Srushti for
a Plastic Waste Management project in Palghar District,
Maharashtra to make 50 waste compliant model villages.
Under this initiative we pledged to make 50 villages
“Plastic Neutral”.
A Plastic Wrapper Collection Drive was conducted on 14th
February, 2021 at Gorai Village, Mumbai Maharashtra.
Students of Indian Institute of Democratic Leadership,
Morning Walkers and Villagers with a total group strength
of 70 volunteers were engaged in this activity explaining
the benefits of usage of plastics and drawbacks of littering
to the people of the Gorai Village.
Famous lyricist Shri also participated in this activity and
supported us to impart knowledge to them.
Approximately 70 KG of littered plastic was collected in
the 2 hours collection drive.
AIPMA team is committed to continue working towards
increasing awareness pertaining to plastic waste
management and willing to encourage and support such
activities in the long run for the best interest of the
environment. AIPMA believes that together we can work
to stop the issues related to littering and make this planet
a better place to live.
