Webinar on "Joint Design: The Key to Ultrasonic Welding Success"

AIPMA organized a webinar with Dukane on "Joint Design: The Key to Ultrasonic Welding Success". The event focused
on the complex environment of plastic welding, as Dukane is the technology leader focused on a customer-centred
approach.
The program started with Shri. Deepak Ballani – Director General, AIPMA, introducing Shri. Arvind Mehta,
Chairman- Governing Council, AIPMA who set the note for the program.

designers and manufacturing leads also learnt how to avoid common pitfalls in designing ultrasonic joints and strategies
to mitigate these issues. A successful ultrasonic weld begins with selecting the correct joint design. As Decisions made
long before the first molds are cut have significant implications on the quality and reliability of the final welded assembly.
Learning how to select the appropriate joint design for your ultrasonic welding assembly is the key to success.
The expert Speaker Mr. David Cermak, Senior Applications Engineer, Dukane USA not only presented the detailed
information on the topic but also enthusiastically answered all the queries of the audience.
