This month has been a memorable month in the history of
AIPMA Delhi Region. On the evening of 29th September, 2016
at the Pearl Hall, Hotel Leela Ambiance, Gurgaon witnessed
the whole Plastic Fraternity from various Plastic Associations the new initiatives taken for Plastivision India 2017,
and others interested in plasticsattended the promotion and
industry meet of Plastivision India -2017 giving true meaning
to Industry Meet. Mr. Vikram Bhaduaria, Chairman, & Mr.
Subodh Gupta, Co-Chairman, Promotion Committee, with
Ms. Sarika Baheti, the Master of Ceremony, and the Core
Committee members, conducteda flawless function.
Over 800 people all belonging to Plastics Association of
the region, exhibitors of PVI-17 Industry stalwarts, and VIP
guests of the Industry participated and expressed their
interest in Plastivision 2017. This projected the strong
network of AIPMA and Team PVI in the region. It was the
best & the largest ever launch event in Plastic Industry.

Exhibition PVI-17 arrived from Mumbai to attend the event.
Er. R. K. Aggarwal, President, AIPMA welcomed the
Honourable Guests as well as the Audience and spoke
on prevailing Industry scenario and its projected growth
up to 2020. He also spoke activities of AIPMA on plastic
processing of India which seesa significant upwards
growth thereby creating great opportunities of business
and employment in near very future. He also thanked
all members present for extending great support and
informed of PAN India presence of AIPMA. All Guests were
honoured with bouquets of flowers and mementos.
Chief Guest of the evening was Shri Avinash Joshi, IAS, Joint
Secretary, Department of Chemicals and Petrochemicals,
and Guest of Honour was Shri Dr. S. K. Nayak, Director
General of CIPET.
Shri L. K. Singh, Promotion Chairman –PVI-17 and Vice
President (North Zone) spoke about Plastivision India 2017
and gave a detailed presentation about the exhibition

with a power point presentation and AV. He spoke about
like consultant clinic, plastics in Agriculture, Job and
Career Fair and many other
activities that will be organized
for the very first time during
Plastivision2017. He indicated
AIPMA plans to hold events in 60
cities to promote visitors to PVI
2017, as the industry is set to
double in size from 11 million tons
per annum to 20 million tons in
the next five years. AIPMA further
plans to promote on social media and hope to achieve a
set target of 200,000 visitors to PVI 2017.
Chief Guest, Shri Avinash Joshi, Joint Secretary, DCPC
was requested to address the gathering. He thanked Shri
L.K.Singh –Promotion Chairman –PVI-17 and Vice President
(North Zone) for inviting him to preside over this function
and gave encouraging speech motivating all present to visit
new initiatives at Plastivision India -2017 at Mumbai during
19 – 23 January, 2017. He assured of his fullest support and
co-operation to AIPMA and Plastic Industry at all times.
He had attended the inauguration function of PVI-13 held
in Mumbai as Guest of Honour, as he said in his speech.
He spoke also about 8 plastic parks which are being
completed by him and various state Governments. 2 of them
have been started their functioning. He requested AIPMA and
Plastic Fraternity to please set up their units in Plastic Parks.
All infrastructures and facilities are available for industry.
Shri Sunil Jain, Member –Co Chairman Core Committee-
PVI-17, thanked everyone for their support in making 1st
visitors promotion meets of PVI-17, a grand success. He
said, “It has been a thanking spree. He invited all to join
for cocktail and dinner. Overall it was an excellent function
in Plastic Industry.
INSTANT FEEDBACK – Participants were expressing their
deep appreciation for our event. Some people were
asking for the type of assistance we could provide them
while they will be visiting our exhibition. They also told
us that, people who could not make it to the function
will be contacted by them to encourage the attendance
as visitors to PVI 2017.
