Webinar to Empower Indian Plastic Industry in the US Market

On October 12th, 2023, AIPMA organized a pioneering webinar in collaboration with Entry USA, shedding light on the
intricate dynamics of venturing into the robust United States market. The event, titled "Powering Business in the US
Market," aimed to equip Indian plastic industry players with the necessary knowledge and tools to navigate the complexi-
ties of the USA’s business landscape.

The webinar commenced with an insightful introduction by Mr. Deepak Ballani, the Director General of AIPMA, during
the event, Mr. Ballani presented a comprehensive statistical analysis emphasizing the United States' import statistics in
the global plastic goods market. This analysis not only underscored the scale of plastic goods imports but also highlighted
India's potential through comparison to other Asian & European nations to be a significant player in the export landscape
to the United States.

Mr. Ballani introduced a dynamic leader to the audience, Mr. Manish Dedhia, President - AIPMA, who set the stage for
the evening's discussions.
Mr. Manish Dedhia, extended a warm welcome to the attendees, acknowledging the transformative changes in U.S.
buyer behaviour due to the global pandemic. He emphasized the growing preference for Indian companies, recogniz-
ing the "China plus one" and "Europe plus one" trends. He emphasized the need to explore and expand operations in
the U.S. by understanding warehousing and legal intricacies, and seizing new business opportunities in the U.S. plastic
industry. Mr. Dedhia's address encouraged participants to actively contribute to the discussion and set the stage for an
enlightening and productive session.
