There were discussions on how Standards play an
important role in creating market access and facilitating
global trade, driving competitiveness, promoting and
disseminating new technologies and innovations and in
underpinning government policies.
Plastic Industry is one of the fastest growing industries

rubber goods etc. Standards play a major facilitative
role in this regard. It is therefore important that the
