             IPMA’s Arvind Mehta Technology and Entrepreneurship
          ACentre (AMTEC) was launched on 16th Feb 2021 in
          Mumbai with the objective to help MSME’s in plastics and
          its application industry in reducing overall time to design,
          develop and rapid roll out of products thereby increase
          speed to global market and compete with China in global
          market.
          The Centre was inaugurated in presence of dignitaries
          from the industry, academia and government. The launch
          ceremony was presided by Prof. (Dr.) S.K Nayak, Former
          Director General, CIPET and currently Vice Chancellor
          of Ravenshaw University, Odisha. The launch event was
          witnessed by more than 1000 people both in-person and
          virtually. Vision behind this novel initiative of AIPMA is to
          promote high quality knowledge and industrial services for
          rapid growth of the plastics and its application industry.

                                                                enterprises. The Centre would consist of state-of-the-art
                                                                Product Innovation & Application Centre consisting of high
                                                                quality equipment's, leading national and international
                                                                knowledge partners.
                                                                Ultimate goal is to provide training and industry services
                                                                for faster growth of MSME's thereby bringing Indian Plastic
                                                                Industry at par with China. Initiative of the Centre of
                                                                Excellence would lead to increased profitability and cash
                                                                flow for MSME’s through productivity enhancement and
                                                                better quality. The Centre would provide technology &
                                                                management services, webinars, digital workshops and
                                                                certificate  courses  for  student,  trainees  and  industry
                                                                workers. Five major verticals are being considered for the
                                                                Centre of Excellence in the areas of Reverse Engineering
                                                                & metrology, Software design application, 3D printing,
                                                                Plastics packaging and Management courses.
          The Centre of Excellence is being set up as a triangulation
          of AIPMA, MSME's and international technology providers   AIPMA’s AMTEC is in process of signing with International
          to bring MSME's at par with global standards rapidly. The   knowledge partners such as Cal Zeiss, Autodesk, Stratasys,
          Centre of Excellence would help the industry to graduate   3D Systems. Various other knowledge partners are being
