AIPMA Gurgaon Job Fair Date: 12th April 2024
Venue: AIPMA House, Gurugram
The Indian plastic industry, experiencing significant growth, faces a critical challenge: a shortage of skilled manpower.
This lack of qualified personnel hinders the industry's potential and can lead to issues related to the productivity. AIPMA
has been consistently working to address the skilled manpower shortage across the plastic value chain in the country. In
fact, AIPMA-AMTEC Centre continuously conducts training programs and workshops for plastic industry professionals.
AIPMA has been organising “Job Fair” since the year 2013 with an objective to provide an effective platform to connect
specialised talent pools equipped with adequate skill sets in the areas of production engineering, injection moulding,
extrusion moulding, master batches, quality control, tool room control, CNC machining, Polymer engineering, plastics
packaging to the potential employers across the Plastic Value Chain.
In the same series, present edition of Job Fair was organised on 12th April 2024 in the AIPMA House, Gurugram.

Talent Pools sought by the Employers
This time employer sought help of AIPMA in getting good talent pools for wide range of vacancies for supervisors,
quality engineers, production head, purchase executive etc. in the specialised domains.
Participation by Skilled Manpower
A total of around 130+ skilled candidates attended the fair with focused backgrounds and skill sets. Each participant
expressed a desire to change careers and explore new opportunities in alignment with their expertise. These talent
pools were carefully sourced by AIPMA team from various centres. The present edition of Job Fair also witnessed the
participation of significant number of female talents.
AIPMA HR team meticulously selected 200 CVs based on their relevance to the employers' requirements. These CVs
were shared with the participating employers to facilitate initial screenings and identify potential candidates for further
evaluation.
The job fair kicked off with Dr Shyam Sunder, Director General, leading the way, followed by an opening speech from
Mr. Sunil Shah, VP – Finance. Mr. Sunil Monga, VP – North, then addressed the audience, followed by Mr. Harendra
Kumar, Centre Head – CIPET, Murthal, who stressed the significance of effective communication between job seekers
and employers. After the introductions, participants had the opportunity to interact individually with representatives
from each employer. Speakers emphasised the importance of skill development to drive the competitiveness of the
Indian plastic sector.
