AIPMA Mega Job Fair concluded successfully on 12th April 2024 at AIPMA House, Gurugram
          office.
          AIPMA has been consistently working to address the skilled manpower shortage across the
          plastic value chain in the country. In fact, AIPMA-AMTEC Centre continuously conducts training
          programs  and  workshops  for  plastic  industry  professionals  with  an  objective  to  provide  an
          effective platform to connect specialised talent pools equipped with adequate skill sets in the
          areas of production engineering, injection moulding, extrusion moulding, master batches, quality
          control, tool room control, CNC machining, Polymer engineering, plastics packaging etc. to the
          potential employers across the Plastic Value Chain.

          With total of 9 employers and around 130+ skilled candidates, attended the fair with focused
          backgrounds and skill sets from which 5 candidates received the ON SPOT offer and around
          25 candidates were shortlisted for further assessment. Each participant expressed their desire
          to change switchover and explore new opportunities in alignment with their expertise. These
          talent pools were carefully sourced by AIPMA team from various centres.
          The job fair kicked off with Dr Shyam Sunder, Director General, leading the way, followed by an
          opening speech from Mr. Sunil Shah, VP – Finance. Mr. Sunil Monga, VP – North, then addressed
          the audience, followed by Mr. Harendra Kumar, Centre Head – CIPET, Murthal, who stressed
          the significance of effective communication between job seekers and employers.

          This month AIPMA is ready to take off with the 325 members’ delegation to ChinaPlas 2024
          exhibition in Shanghai, China and is all set to witness the technological advancements and new
          processes in the Plastic Industry and network with the foreign opportunities. There will be B2B
          meetings in Shanghai as well.
          The preparation for the first & largest event on recycling and sustainability is set to usher the
          plastic industry into new emerging global economy of plastics aiming sustainability and circularity.
          This show scheduled for 4-7 July, 2024, at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, the event will bring all
          stakeholders of the value chain under one roof rewriting the path for growth with sustainability.
