IPLEX 2018 held at Hyderabad
PLEX 2018, 9th in the Series, An International Exhibition, There has been an overwhelming response to the

State Plastics Association (KSPA) with the support of Andhra Pradesh. A few visitors were from Maharashtra,
CIPET, Chennai. Logo support was extended by The Delhi, Ahmedabad, Rajasthan and Daman.
Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers (Dept. of Chemicals 120 Machines worth of Rs 200 crores were sold outright
& Petrochemicals) Government of India, Plastindia at the Exhibition and Fresh Orders for machinery worth

400 crores were received by Machinery manufacturers.

participated in IPLEX-2018.
Along with National Exhibitors there was International
Pavilion comprising exhibitors from China, Taiwan,
Germany and United Kingdom.
The Exhibition IPLEX18 was inaugurated by The Chief
Guest Shri K. T. Rama Rao Minister of IT, MA&UD, Industries
and Commerce, Govt. of Telangana on the 3rd of August,
2018. He promised all assistance from the Govt. of
Telangana. He also mentioned about the pollution aspect
of plastics and highlighted that 90% of plastic products

percentage of Plastic made into low quality bags and
single use items are causing unclean surroundings and
pollution. He asked the industry to control the production
of substandard material and produce high quality material
which doesn’t add to the pollution. He also sanctioned
110 acres at Mankal exclusively for the Plastic Park.
The Guests of Honor were Mr. Jayesh Ranjan, Principal
Secretary, Industries and Commerce Dept., Govt. of
Telangana, Mr. Hiten Bheda, President, AIPMA, and Mr. K
K.Seksaria, President, Plastindia Foundation.
