Choice of copper-based alloys for injection molding industry

AMPCO METAL, with its worldwide network of manufacturing
and distribution facilities, has long and successfully been
associated with the plastic injection molding industry
by delivering top-quality AMPCO® Aluminum Bronze and
AMPCOLOY® High Conductivity Copper Bronze, each with
mechanical and thermal conductive properties that go
beyond the same for comparable standard alloys.
High conductivity AMPCOLOY® alloys manufactured by
AMPCO METAL complete the AMPCO® range. These high
conductivity alloys are manufactured with even greater
care than commercial metals, pure metal content, and
rigorous control to ensure uniformity and unchanging
quality. Therefore, AMPCOLOY® alloys are used extensively
in injection molds as pins for injection molding, extrusion
and blow molding into the molds for the automotive and other industries, reducing the cycle time by 20-80% while

friction forms, AMPCO® 18 and 21 are widely used, preventing many wear and seizure problems.
          Some major applications:
AMPCOLOY® 83 (2% Beryllium Copper Alloy) in injection molds for plastic caps
AMPCOLOY® 940 (Beryllium Free Copper Alloy) in injection molds for drum housings in automatic washing machines and
automotive front and rear bumper insert
          AMPCOLOY® 940, 95, 83 for injection nozzles, if necessary, with a coating
AMPCO® 18(Nickel free Aluminium Bronze) for friction plates and centering hooks for PET bottle preforms. For plastic
tray, it gives 32% reduction in cycle time and it is also used for sliding block supports, wear components for plastic
          injection molding kits
If you want to save costs, maintain production volume throughout the plastic molding and molding industry while maintaining
competitiveness, it is important to consider using AMPCO® and AMPCOLOY® alloys in injection molding molds. AMPCO®
and AMPCOLOY® alloys allow manufacturers to offer products that provide greater productivity and reduce costs.

Goldstab Takes Another Step Towards Sustainability

Goldstab Organics Private Limited, the leading manufacturer of PVC Heat Stabilizers in
India, has always focused on sustainable development. As a part of this effort, Goldstab has
developed non-toxic, eco-friendly Stabilizer system based on Ca/Zn mixed metal technology.
Continuing in the same spirit, the company has taken one more step in this direction by

Generation of solar energy has a healthy impact
on the environment. A major advantage is,
of course, ecological as it will not generate
greenhouse gases and reduce carbon footprint.
