Greetings to all of you!!! Wishing you all a very proud 78th INDEPENDENCE
DAY!
AIPMA is working rigorously towards uplifting the Indian Plastic Industry by or-
ganising the helpful and informative events/seminars for all the Plastic Fraternity.
Recently, The Financial Conclave, titled "Empowering SMEs: Competitive Financ-
ing for Plastics Value Chain," took place on July 25, 2024, at the National Stock
Exchange of India Limited in Mumbai. This event was organized by the All India
Plastics Manufacturers Association (AIPMA) and the National Stock Exchange of
India Ltd. (NSE). It aimed to help Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in the plas-
tics industry understand competitive financing, prepare for IPOs, manage risks,
and use the financial ecosystem effectively.
Lamp lighting was done by Shri Milind Barapatre IEDS, Joint Director & Head of
Office at the MSME Development and Facilitation Office along with Chairman GC
Shri Arvind Mehta, AIPMA Office Bearers and dignitaries present on the dais.
Many of the esteemed speakers such as Smt. Sheetal Shirke from SIDBI, Mr. Rohit
Mandhotra from NSE, Mr. Manish Modi from InCorp Advisory Services, Ms. Divya
Sharma from NSE, Ms. Parvathy Moorthy from NSE, Mr. K. V. Srinivasan from Pro-
fectus Capital, Mr. Pramod Bhuvan from RiverBank Insurance Brokers, Shri Praful
Umare from the MSME Development and Facilitation Office, Mr. Hitesh Sethia from
NSE, Shri Mangesh Wankhade from SIDBI, Mr. Amit Patil and Ms. Anisha Patel from
UNISON Insurance Broking Services, Mr. Dharmesh Tejani from NSE, Mr. Vipul Ma-
hajan from Transunion CIBIL, Mr. Ajoy Lodha from Singhi Advisors, Ms. Neha Saraf
from Morgan Stanley, Mr. Niren Shethia from Price Waterhouse & Co. Presented
and shared the insights on their topics.
Overall, the Financial Conclave was a significant collaboration between AIPMA
and NSE, aiming to empower SMEs in the plastics industry by providing critical
financial insights and resources. It covered a wide range of topics, including IPO
preparation, trade credit insurance, leveraging the financial ecosystem, SME list-
ing, currency and commodity derivatives, and private equity. The collaboration
between AIPMA and NSE was instrumental in addressing the financial needs and
challenges faced by SMEs in the plastics industry. The event was attended by 18
speakers and over 170 participants.
The conclave ended with a vote of thanks from Mr. Sunil Shah, Vice President - Fi-
nance at AIPMA, acknowledging the contributions of all speakers and participants.
On 10th August AIPMA Job fair was a successfully completed at our Chennai Of-
fice. We connected leading employers with wide range of candidates across ITI,
CIPET and leading engineering disciplines. Total 9 employer participated resulting
the selection of 11 candidates.
The Next Job Fair will be held on 14th September at APMA Office, Kolkata.
