AIPMA receives Gold Award at Plasticon 2018

he All India Plastics Manufacturers' Association (AIPMA) received the Gold Award for its Outstanding Contribution
Tfor Image Building of Plastics (Individuals, NGOs, Institution) in the 8th Plasticon Awards held on 7th February
2018. The award was presented by Mr. N.K. Balgi, Mr. M.P.Taparia and Mr. Pankaj Mehta.

President Mr. Hiten Bheda and our Past President Er. R.K.Aggarwal accepted the award acknowledging the hard work
and efforts of AIPMA.PLASTINDIA 2018 had organised its 8th plasticon Awards ceremony at Gandhinagar, recognizing
innovations and performances of both, individuals and organizations. By far, these awards have proved to be the most
prestigious and sought after awards for both, manufacturers and end users, professionals and students alike, And who
better than industry expect and first generation entrepreneurs to giveout these awards! Present for the occasions
were Chairman and co-founder of Samavardhana Motherson Group.

Vivek Chaand Sehgal, MD and Chairman, Supreme Industries Ltd. M.P. Tapana, Industry veteran and Chairman of the
Plasticon Awards 2018, N.K. Balgi, MD Manjushree Technopak Ltd. and chairman of the Award jury Committee Vimal
Kedia, President Plastindia Foundation K. K. Seksana and Chairman.

The awards were offered across an array of 23 categories 16 for innovations and 7 for outstanding performers.
Mr N.K. Balgi, said that the significance of innovations and entrepreneurs in the plastics industry was born out of the
generations of entrepreneurs and contributors over the years. He added, “The first generation created a deep and
meaningful impact that persuaded us to devise this award programme that recognises and honours innovators in their
individual and organizational capacity.”
