         AIPMA - All set for the New Year




             n behalf of AIPMA, I would like to wish you, your family and your Associates a very Happy,
          OHealthy and Prosperous New Year 2021. May the New Year prove to be a Road to Success,
          Everlasting Prosperity & Health to you all.
          I am sure that this edition of our magazine proves to be both elegant and informative to the
          readers & provides exclusive insights of the monthly AIPMA activities taken for the industry’s
          best interest.
          We all are well aware of the importance of the packaging industry in India. We believe it is
          one of the strongest growing sectors in India. Thus, it gives me immense pleasure to introduce
          our upcoming Virtual Event 'PLASTIWORLD 2021' - The Global Plastics Packaging Expo, to be
          held from 19th to 23rd January 2021. Main objective of the virtual exhibition and B2B event
          is to increase business of Plastics packaging in India. Companies would have the opportunity
         to launch new products in India, explore new markets and promote their products.        Chandrakant Turakhia
         This would also help industries in the plastics sector to interact with key decision makers
         to  build  customer  relationships  towards  potential  market  penetration.  We  already  have
         registrations from more than 110 exhibitors from India & are expecting around 12,000 buyers
         & visitors from 68 countries across the globe to visit the virtual event. I therefore invite all
         of you to attend this global plastic packaging expo.

         Pertaining to its aim to work for the betterment of the industry in every way possible, AIPMA
         continued to organize webinars on very valuable topics which need attention and the industry
         demands expert assistance on.
         On the 17th December 2020, AIPMA organized a webinar on “Shortcut to Superfast Consistent
         Quality Production” in order to introduce the concept of “Real Art of Molding” (RAM), the
         implementation of which would give the industry repeatability in injection molding &
         consistency in part quality will become the standard norm.  The webinar successful covered
         the important aspects of the subject such as Why Real Art of Molding (RAM) is important?
         What is Real Art of Molding (RAM)? What does it entail? Importance of RAM approach to
         molding especially during Covid-19 times when labor is scarce and increased production per
         hour is the of utmost importance & Advantages of implementation of RAM to name a few.
         AIPMA is actively pursuing its agenda to work closely with the industry, government, academia
         and the society to promote usage of plastics and protect the environment by undertaking
         various steps, one being creating awareness about Plastic Recycling and sustainability.

         AIPMA organized a webinar on “Plastic Recycling - A step towards Sustainability on 6th Jan”.
         In recent past many brands engaged in production of consumer goods have announced usage
         of recycled plastics for their packaging providing impetus to development of technologies to
         produce unlit recyclates matching nearly properties of virgin raw materials.  The webinar
         offered insights into various facets of recycling of plastics for the processing industry.
