                                                                activities in the long run for the best interest of the
                                                                environment. AIPMA believes that together we can work
                                                                to stop the issues related to littering and make this planet
                                                                a better place to live.

          to  increase  and  spread  maximum  awareness  about
          Plastic Waste Management and aims to move towards a

          by adapting tools that can help stakeholders educate,
          create awareness about segregation, tracking and
          recycling of plastic waste.

          The  Plastic  Waste  Management  Rules,  2016  clearly
          stipulate that urban local bodies (ULBs) should not use
          less than 50 micron thick plastic bags.

          Therefore, AIPMA is pleased to extend its support towards
          handling the Plastic Waste by collaborating with Keshav
          Srushti for a Plastic Waste Management project in Palghar
          District, Maharashtra to make 50 waste compliant model
          villages.

          This initiative is aimed to focus on spreading awareness
          on Plastic Waste Management. The co-development of 50
          waste compliant model villages comprises of Education,
          waste management, sanitation, farming, renewable
          energy, skill development, water supply and character
