MSME Awards Announced

Jyoti Plastics, Mitsuchem Plast and Faith Industries among the winners

To observe the International MSME Day, Union Ministry of Micro Small and Medium Enterprises organized an international
convention on theme-Indian MSMEs, Global Aspirations, in New Delhi
Also 100 SMEs selected by a jury from among 34011 nominations from across India were felicitated under the aegis of
the 6th Annual India SME 100 Awards.
Mumbai based Jyoti Plastics , Mitsu Chem Plast Limited and Ahmedabad based Faith Industries Ltd., were among the
winners of the Prestigous awards.Incidentally all the three winners are among the members of AIPMA.
While Jyoti Plastics was awarded for Innovations in Injection Moulding deisgns and System, Mitsuchem Plast Limited
was awarded for innovations in Molded Industrial Plastic Packaging products.
Faith Industries Ltd., bagged it for the innovations into manufacturing of PVC Additives and Waxes.
The annual award for excellence in SME Sector is organised by Ministry of MSME in association with the Economic
Diplomacy & States Division ; Govt. Of India on basis on Financial and Non Financial ranking of companies. The award
was presented by the Hon. Union Minister for MSME Sh. Nitin Gadkari at a Grand function held at New Delhi on the
27th July on World SME Day. The function was attended by Min. of State for MSME, Joint Secretary for MSME, Axis Bank
MD & CEO apart from Ambassadors of several countries of the world. The programme was also supported by United
Nations Industrial Development Organisation. India SME Forum, India’s largest Small & Medium Business Movement.
Formed in May 2011, with the objective to propel a Small and Medium Business Movement across the country, our aim
was to provide a voice to small and medium entrepreneurs,
wilting under the non entrepreneur friendly policies of the
then dispensation, and to support and recognise innovative,
globally competitive, SMEs in India. In line with the strategy
of India SME Forum, to groom promising SMEs, the India
SME 100 ranking acts as a catalyst to identify such SMEs and
recognise them for eventually becoming large global-oriented
companies.
The awards also inspire willing and able SMEs that have the
potential to be world-class enterprises and offer them the
