AIPMA Organizes All India Plastics Associations / Processors’ Meet – 2022
Growth Of Plastic Processing & Recycling Industry
e All India Plastics Manufacturers’ Association (AIPMA), the largest apex body of Plastics Industry in India had organized
the All India Plastics Associations/ Processors’ Meet – 2022 on Friday, 27th May, 2022 at Hotel Radisson, Mumbai.
e objective of organizing this “All India Plastics Associations/ Processors’ Meet – 2022” was to bring out the key issues and
how to support the growth of Plastics Processing Industry, Recycling sector, etc.
Madam Arti Ahuja – Secretary, Department of Chemicals and Petrochemicals (DCPC), Government of India was the Chief
Guest for the Meeting. e meeting was attended by 25+ Associations and Industry Captains where they shared their views
and thoughts on how to take the plastics processing and recycling industry ahead at a more prominent place on the global
stage.
Mr. Kishore Sampat – President, AIPMA welcomed Madam Arti Ahuja, all the dignitaries, captains of the industry,
association’s heads with a great joy and immense exultation. He mentioned that this meeting is going to pave the way towards
growth of the Plastic industry.
Mr. Arvind Mehta – Chairman, Governing Council and AIPMA’s AMTEC emphasized on the need of plastic processing
sector as it is di erent from Raw material producers and machinery manufacturers.
Ms. Arti Ahuja – Secretary, DCPC heard about the innovations and advancements happening in the di erent elds of plastic
and its application industries. She highlighted three key issues to the industry such as Technology to manufacture high end
machines, Recycling Sector and how the industry is visualizes its stand in the coming 10-years. Where the AIPMA and the
Association Head gave a positive feedback on the same.
ere were several other initiatives and task discussed in the meeting which will be needed for the growth path ahead of the
Plastic industry.
