          Report of Chinaplas 2024 from 23-26 April, 2024, at National
          Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai), PR China

          CHINAPLAS 2024 has been successfully completed at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (NECC), Hongqiao,
          Shanghai, PR China. This much-anticipated mega show of 380,000 sqm exhibition area is held for four consecutive days
          (April 23-26) with record-breaking show scale of 3,300 exhibitors from 40 countries, increased by 12% compared to the
          2018 edition in Shanghai.
          The organisers M/s. Adsale Exhibition Services Ltd. have assured that this Chinaplas 2024 was set to be even bigger
          and better, promising a whirlwind of opportunities for professionals in the plastics sector. The focussed area of displays
          encompasses Smart Manufacturing, Innovative Materials, Green & Circular Solutions, Robots, Technology innovations,
          circular economy etc. The exhibition witnessed over 250,000 footfall of focussed global business seekers for four days of
          Trade fair, indeed an excellent opportunity.
          AIPMA had a stall in 7.1T37 wherein we could meet Agents from China, Taiwan, Iran, Hungary, Jordan and such other
          countries who showed interest to bring their Country Pavilions to GCPRS.

          Following MoU’s were signed for GCPRS.
          1)  With M/s. Fairs Communications International Co. Ltd., for countries like Taiwan, Korea, Japan, Malaysia and Vietnam.
          2)  CMEC International Exhibition Co. Ltd., for China.
          3)  Amaplast, Italy showed interest to mobilise few Exhibitors from Italy.

          4)  Lohia Corp has confirmed to be one of the Sponsors for GCPRS.
          The organisers M/s Adsale Exhibition Services Ltd claims that after 6 years, Chinaplas in Shanghai was a new look along
          with many expectations. Under the theme of ‘A Brighter and Shared Future, Powered by Innovation’, we aim to promote
          the high-quality development of the industry, injecting the ‘New Productive Forces’ to drive the advanced manufacturing
          transformation in response to the increasing demand for advanced technologies.”
          This signature event focuses on artificial intelligence, internet of things, photovoltaic wind power, green hydrogen stor-
          age, new energy vehicles, lithium battery technology, etc., to explore hot topics, including “The Global Plastics & Rub-
          ber Industries: Megatrends, Opportunities & Challenges”, "Digitalization for Industrial Transformation and Sustainability",
          "Innovative Technology for Electric Vehicles" and "Innovative Technology for Green Energy" with industry insiders from
          around the world.

          Circular economy was most focussed theme among the 17 theme zones.  It also featured eco-friendly manufacturing,
          such as Recycling Technology Zone, Bioplastics Zone and Recycled Plastics Zone, aiming to explore the vast potential of
          the circular economy. Emerging technologies include 90% post-consumer recycled polycarbonate, mass-balanced PA66
          incorporating Asian post-consumer plastic waste, chemically recycled medical-grade ABS materials, sustainable TPE, bot-
          tle flake sorting machines, and more.
          Innovative Materials", "Digitalization" and "High-end Technologies from various countries" were industry trends with lot of
          hunt after pavilion in Chinaplas-2024. At the same time, concerted efforts are being made to foster collaborative innovation
          among upstream and downstream sectors to expedite the development of “new productive forces”.
          Advanced Packaging Solutions”, “Automotive Plastic Solutions”, “3D Printing” and “2024 New Materials”, to reveal over
          30 of the latest, hottest and most breakthrough cutting-edge technologies stood out in the ground.
          There were 10 theme bases seminars, encompasses over 60 top rated topics, including photoelectric cables, low-carbon
          energy, medical sterilization packaging, integrated biomedical engineering, ready-meal packaging, automobile safety, en-
          vironmental protection, etc.
          AIPMA GC & AMTEC Chairman Mr. Arvind Mehta added in the B2B meeting between AIPMA and CMEC delegates wherein
          we saw 99 Indians who were buyers from China.  According to the information given by China Plastic Machinery Manufac-
