Warmest Greetings to all of my readers!!!
As you all know, the world’s largest Exhibition - K-fair for Plastic and Rubber Industry celebrated
it’s 70th anniversary in Dusseldorf - Germany, October 2022 with over 176,000 visitors in
attendance. The K – fair was a great opportunity to Global Plastic Industry to showcase their
products, latest innovative technologies, to share ideas and to interact with other global leaders.
AIPMA was delighted to meet and have quality interaction with the exhibitors. During the whole
time, we experienced strong international interest, enriching encounters and a noticeable sense
of optimism.
The observation of this exhibition was fruitful as we got latest industry insight, modern technology
and new projects / development throughout the world. Many exhibitors, partners from many
sectors were especially interested in developments and projects related to the circular economy
and climate neutrality as it is a necessity of all industries to look for solutions to reduce emissions
and save resources. Recycling and the circular economy have been embraced 100 percent by
the plastic industry.
In the current scenario, the circular economy is an alternative to the current linear, make, use,
dispose, economy model, which is aiming to keep resources in use for as long as possible, to
extract the maximum value from them whilst in use, and to recover and regenerate products
and materials at the end of their service life and will help in ‘closing the material loop’
India intends to make a remarkable step for the Plastic Industry. It is going to create a lot more
opportunities to the country, more foreign investors are interested to set up their market in India,
which will lead to the rise of employment and automatically will help to increase the economy
of the country. To see the different side of the coin, Global Plastic Industry is immensely looking
towards Indian market as renewable power source, innovation in manufacturing technologies,
Economical growth and human resource. Therefore, it is the right time and perfect window
waiting for the Indian Plastic Industry to scale up capability and create mass production to meet
the demand of global market.
This month the Ministry of MSME and AIPMA has jointly organized Global MSME Convention
for Plastic Industry to create opportunities for Indian Plastic Industry in 5 Trillion $ Economy
by 2025. Many manufacturers, processors, Experts has shown their active participation in the
event. I am hopeful that it would be a milestone to take a step towards the growth of Plastic
Industry.
I believe, with vast foreign network and advanced tech, Indian Plastic Industry will lead to the
growth, innovation, adaption of new culture and modern technologies.
Thanking you,
