THE PRESIDENT SAYS

Greetings of the Season! Wishing you all a Happy and Prosperous Diwali.
It is with immense gratitude and deep sense of responsibility that I accept the honor of serving
as the President of The All India Plastics Manufacturers’ Association (AIPMA). I thank the
Managing Committee, Past President, and every member of our fraternity for reposing their
faith in me. I am truly humbled to take forward the legacy of this great institution, built by dec-
ades of dedication, teamwork, and vision.
For nearly eight decades, AIPMA has stood as the collective voice of India’s plastics industry -
nurturing innovation, fostering growth, and ensuring that our sector contributes meaningfully
to the nation’s economy and sustainability goals. As we enter a new phase of transformation,
my focus will be on strengthening the fundamentals, expanding our impact, and preparing
           AIPMA for the future.
A Vision for Growth, Sustainability, and Global Presence
My tenure is guided by a simple yet powerful vision -
“Together, we build a sustainable world.”
To realize this, we will emphasize collaboration, innovation, and inclusion. Every member,
every chapter, and every initiative of AIPMA will contribute towards building a resilient, future-
           ready plastics ecosystem.
Our roadmap for 2025–26 is built on key pillars:
           1. Enhancing Industry Influence
AIPMA will intensify its advocacy on policy, trade, standards, and environment - engaging
closely with government departments to drive favorable policies, incentives, and sustainability
           frameworks for the plastics sector.
           2. Expanding Infrastructure & Skill Development
A major milestone ahead is our proposed 50-acre integrated AIPMA Campus near Mumbai,
comprising a Skill Development Centre and Exhibition & Convention Ground. This will be a
first-of-its-kind hub for technology, training, and global networking - a true symbol of “Make in
           India” excellence.
           3. Empowering Knowledge & Visibility
Through Plastics News, the AIPMA Directory, events & conferences, we will continue to be
the knowledge backbone of the industry. Simultaneously, AIPMA’s digital presence will grow
stronger with enhanced social media visibility, and dynamic PR initiatives to position Indian
           plastics globally.
           4. Driving Events that Matter
Our flagship exhibitions - Plastiworld 2026, 3rd Global Conclave on Plastic Recycling & Sus-
tainability (GCPRS), and Plastivision India 2027 - will set new benchmarks for scale, partici-
pation, and business outcomes. Alongside, national Job Fairs, Financial Conclaves, and Skill
Summits will ensure that AIPMA remains a platform of opportunity for every stakeholder.
           Teamwork: The Foundation of Success
Our success lies in collective effort. Teamwork - built on cooperation, trust, communication,
and respect - will be the cornerstone of all AIPMA activities. Each chapter office across India
will be empowered to act as a regional growth driver, bringing AIPMA closer to every member.
           Together Towards a Sustainable Tomorrow
The world is moving toward a circular economy, and India’s plastics industry must lead by
example. AIPMA will continue to champion sustainability, recycling, and responsible innova-
tion, ensuring that our growth aligns with environmental stewardship and global best practices.
I invite every member of this vibrant fraternity to join hands in this transformative journey. To-
gether, we will strengthen the voice of the Indian plastics industry, make AIPMA a global force,
and build a sustainable, prosperous future for generations to come.
Let’s move forward — united in purpose, strong in vision, and confident in action.
                                                                                Mr. Sunil Shah
                                                                         president@aipma.net
