A New Chapter of Growth and Vision at AIPMA

           Dear Readers,
I wish you all a very Happy and Prosperous Diwali and a Happy New Year.

Our 79th Annual General Meeting was held on 27th September at AIPMA House,
Mumbai. Subsequently, in the first Managing Committee meeting, a new team
of Office Bearers was elected — Mr. Sunil Shah as President, and the following
team: Mr. Anil Reddy Vennam (Senior Vice President), Mr. Bipin Desai (Vice
President – Finance), Mr. Mayur K. Shah (Vice President – West), Mr. Sunil Monga
(Vice President – North), Mr. Y.V. Raman (Vice President – South), and Mr. Ashok
           Agarwal (Vice President – East).

I extend my warmest congratulations to Mr. Sunil Shah and his entire team of
Office Bearers. This new leadership ushers in an era of renewed energy, purpose,
and progress — one that envisions transformation, sustainability, and global
competitiveness for the Indian plastics industry.

It is also my privilege to be re-elected as the Hon. Editor of Plastics News Mag-
azine. I am deeply grateful for the continued faith and confidence reposed in
me by the Office Bearers and the Managing Committee. This opportunity further
strengthens my resolve to contribute meaningfully through our publication — a
platform that reflects the voice, vision, and vitality of India’s plastics fraternity.

Under the dynamic leadership of Mr. Sunil Shah, AIPMA is poised to scale
new frontiers. His vision focuses on expanding India’s manufacturing
excellence, promoting circular economy principles, and driving technological
modernization. He aims to strengthen the association’s global footprint,
encourage innovation among MSMEs, and create a robust ecosystem aligned
           with the nation’s sustainability goals.

As we look ahead, the plastics industry is undergoing a paradigm shift. Emerging
trends include the rise of bio-based polymers, advanced recycling technologies,
automation and Industry 4.0 integration, and a strong shift toward eco-
design and lightweighting. There is an increasing emphasis on sustainability,
digital transformation, and value-added exports — redefining how plastics
are produced, used, and perceived worldwide. AIPMA’s role in steering this
transformation will be pivotal, ensuring Indian manufacturers remain competitive,
           responsible, and future-ready.

As part of this shared mission, the Plastics News Magazine team pledges to con-
tinue bringing insightful stories, thought leadership, and industry updates that
           empower our members and stakeholders.
Together, let us translate our collective vision into measurable progress — to take
AIPMA and the Indian plastics industry to new heights of excellence.
