A small team from AIPMA, visited the ASD Market Week – Affordable Shopping Destination, Las Ve-
gas (Autumn Edition), held from August 03–06, 2025.
ASD Market Week, with a legacy of over 50 years, is the most comprehensive consumer merchandise
trade show in the United States, catering to retailers and distributors of all scales. The 2025 edition
featured:
♦ 1,560 exhibitors (national & international participation from 12 countries)
♦ 30,000+ visitors
♦ 70+ product categories across 9 sectors
♦ Over 1 million products showcased
To benefit its members, AIPMA is working on compiling and sharing the list of products from the trade
show, aiming to create new opportunities and open gateways for international business collaborations.
The future of Indian plastic exports shines with immense potential. With the government’s emphasis
on “Make in India” and trade diversification, our sector is poised to contribute significantly to the coun-
try’s export growth. From packaging materials and automotive components to medical devices and
sustainable alternatives, Indian plastics are increasingly being recognized for quality and innovation.
However, achieving this growth requires collective efforts in capacity building, compliance with inter-
national standards, and exploring value-added product segments.
At AIPMA, we remain committed to supporting our members and the industry at large. Through knowl-
edge-sharing platforms, trade facilitation, international delegations, buyer-seller meets, and advocacy
with policymakers, we are enabling businesses to unlock export opportunities. Our continuous efforts
are directed towards creating a conducive ecosystem where Indian plastics can compete and thrive
globally.
As we look ahead, the upcoming calendar of AIPMA is packed with industry-defining events, network-
ing opportunities, and platforms designed to showcase India’s strength in plastics manufacturing and
exports. I urge all stakeholders to actively participate, contribute, and benefit from these initiatives.
Together, we can strengthen India’s position as a global hub for plastics.
“As we step into the festive season, we extend our warmest wishes to you and your family. May this
Navratri and Dussehra bring good health, happiness, and prosperity to all. Let’s celebrate the spirit of
victory of good over evil with joy and togetherness.”
