INTERVIEW
Q3. Will there be concurrent conferences or seminars focusing on relevant industry issues?
A: Yes. The International Conference on Circular Economy and Plastics Recycling Technologies will
run alongside the exhibition, featuring global experts and industry leaders. Sessions will cover recy-
cling technologies, waste segregation, AI-driven sorting, advanced mechanical recycling, and PCR-
grade plastics. CEO roundtables will focus on EPR implementation, evolving regulations, infrastructure
needs, and public-private partnerships aimed at strengthening India’s circular economy.
Q4. Could you highlight some of the key speakers, participating organisations, or international del-
egations expected at the event?
A: While the speaker lineup is yet to be finalized, the event has strong institutional support from MSME,
DCPC, and MoEFCC, ensuring senior government participation. Leading industry players, including
Adiva Polymers, 21st Century Polymers, Vanden Recycling, Supreme Petrochem, HMEL, and Ganesha
Ecosphere, are among the confirmed sponsors and exhibitors, showcasing advanced recycling solu-
tions.
Q5. How will the conclave address emerging policy frameworks, including EPR, recycled content
mandates, and sustainability targets?
A: EPR compliance is a central theme of GCPRS 2026. The event will simplify regulatory frameworks
through expert sessions and a dedicated encyclopaedia-cum-exhibitors directory explaining EPR reg-
istration, compliance requirements, and best practices. With MoEFCC as a co-organiser, participants
can expect practical guidance on policy implementation, recycled-content mandates, and global sus-
tainability commitments.
Q6. What outcomes do you hope will emerge from the conclave?
A: The conclave aims to transform the 40 per cent of unrecycled plastic into a clear agenda for policy,
investment, and technological innovation. By bringing together brand owners, recyclers, technology
providers, NGOs, certification bodies, and municipal authorities, GCPRS seeks to foster partnerships
and generate actionable recommendations on EPR targets, recycling infrastructure, and circular econ-
omy initiatives.
