Education and Career Fair by AIPMA’s AMTEC Andheri,
Mumbai Saturday, 23rd July 2022
Education and Career Fair was organized by AIPMA’s AMTEC on 23rd July 2022 at Andheri, Mumbai. AIPMA’s AMTEC
is one of the emerging Center of Excellence for Plastic Product Innovations and Applications in India covering education
and industry services in the areas of Reverse Engineering, 3D printing, Product Design, Management Consulting and Plastic
Packaging technologies.
The education and career fair was attended by 125+ students from different engineering background. Students appreciated
the proceedings of the education and career fair. Education and career fair was with regard to knowledge sharing on latest
innovations and technologies in plastic industry.
Mr. Kishore Sampat, President, AIPMA welcomed dignitaries, students, professors, senior faculties, speakers and panelists
and highlighted various activities undertaken by AIPMA for ensuring growth of plastic industry in India. Mr. Arvind Mehta,
Chairman, Governing Council, AIPMA and Chairman, AIPMA’s AMTEC informed students about vision, mission and
objective of AMTEC. Mr. Mehta also outlined various on-going and upcoming activities of AMTEC in the areas of education
and industry services.
During the education and career fair, key note address was delivered by Mr. Arvind Mehta, Chairman – AIPMA’s AMTEC
and explained on how the cutting edge innovations in plastic industry is revitalizing the plastic industry. Mr. Arvind Mehta
also discussed about the potential future partnerships between the institutes, students and employers. Mr. Arvind Mehta also
talked about specific education programs offered by AIPMA’s AMTEC and how this will help them up skill themselves and
stand out from the rest of the competition. AIPMA’s AMTEC will also help students securing internships in the industry and
with job opportunities.
Education and career fair involved the diverse group of eminent national speakers including the panelists from domain
such as packaging, 3D printing, reverse engineering, product design and management consulting. Speakers from renowned
organizations, FIPS, Carl Zeiss India, Siemens, 3D Systems and SSA Business Solutions were a part of this interactive and
informative education and career fair. Employers from reputed companies like Premsons Plastics Pvt Ltd, Mitsu Chem,
Polythene Industries, Siddharth Consultancy Services, Cam Tools Pvt Ltd, Precious Products Ltd, Protosys Technologies Pvt
Ltd and Technoplast India been the part of meet the employer’s session during the course of event. The speakers and employers
in the education and career fair not only guided the students but also urged and motivated them to up skill themselves with
the education programs offered by AIPMA’s AMTEC. They also discussed about the massive disruptions happening in the
field of plastic industry. The students had a live demonstration of 3D printing, 3D scanning and Unigraphics Nx CAD
software services with the help of our knowledge partners.
The education and career fair was attended by the students from SVKM's Dwarkadas J. Sanghvi College of Engineering,
Pune Vidyarthi Gruha's College Of Engineering Technology, Institute of Chemical Technology, Shri Bhagubhai Mafatlal
Polytechnic, SIES Graduate School of Technology, NTTF, St John College of Engineering & Management, St Francis
Institute of Technology, Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute, MIT, St. Francis ITI, Government Polytechnic Beed and
Maharashtra Mudran Parishad.
The event was organized in association with Storia Foods as a refreshment partner and YES Bank & Bharat Rubber Works as
supporting partners.
A session on bridging the gap between the academics and industry was organized among the faculties during the course of
this education and career fair. Faculties from Pune Vidyarthi Gruha's College Of Engineering Technology, SIES Graduate
School of Technology and Institute of Chemical Technology had been a part of this interactive session. The faculties discussed
about the gap in the current academic syllabus and how this education programs from AIPMA’s AMTEC will help students
in achieving a competitive edge in the market. The whole event was covered by Tarun Bharat and Maharashtra Times as our
