Day 2 of the conference started with Growth Enabler
Session 3 on Business Opportunities in Bio-degradable
/ Compostable Plastic Sector as Alternative to SUP
growth. Mr. Raju D. Desai, Member, AIPMA chaired
the session. The expert panel showcased the latest update
relating to the bio-degradable plastic sector to help in keeping
the environment clean and enhancing the development of the
plastic industry. International speakers Mr. Peter Putsch,
Director, EXIPNOS GMBH, Germany, Dr. Siwarutt
Boonyarattanakalin, Member, Thai Bioplastics Industry
Association, Thailand & Dr. Tuangporn Tukomane,
Senior Regional Sales Manager-Industrial Applications, SMS
corporation, Thailand also contributed efficiently sharing the
global perspective enabling the audience to take decisions
accordingly and ensure business relations and development.
During the 2nd half of the day were the power packed and very informative key note addresses delivered by industry
experts providing various business opportunities to the audience from the various sectors of the plastic industry chaired
by Mr. Jayesh Rambhia, Hon Treasurer Plastindia Foundation, Past President AIPMA & Co-chairman, AMTEC,
AIPMA’s training center. Panellists Dr. Virendrakumar Gupta, Head R & D Polymer & Sr. Vice President, Reliance
Industries Ltd., Mr. Dwaipayan Gupta, Business Development Manager, Exxonmobil Lubricants Pvt. Ltd. Mr. D.K
Sharma, Immediate Past President (TAGMA India) & Consultant- Business Transformation and Mr. Sandeep Patil,
Senior Manager, Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. educated the delegates with different aspects and opportunities including
Chemicals to Polymer Technology (C2P) for Sustainable Growth of Plastic Sector : Relevant Strategy for Invent in
India, Maximizing Efficiency through Lubricants, Key Note Address – Current and future opportunities for MSME Tool
Makers in 5 Trillion $ Economy and business opportunities for the Indian plastic industry.
Thus, Global MSME Convention, held on 16th & 17th November, 2022 played a vital role in contributing towards
the betterment of the industry and the environment. The entire convention was impressively moderated by Mr. Deepak
Ballani, Director General, AIPMA along with proposing the Vote of thanks and concluding the mega event.
