The 12th edition of ‘Plastivision India 2023’ concluded on 11th December 2023 With great
success and a record 2,34,000+ visitors, 1280 exhibitors - 71 of them were foreign exhibitors
from 20 different countries, including China, Malaysia, South Korea, Germany, and Malaysia—
displayed cutting-edge global technology and goods. In addition to creating over 1,00,000
employments, the event enabled deals worth 5000 crores in business. With 101 buyers from
26 countries, Plastivision India 2023 experienced reverse Buyer and Seller interactions for the
first time. Big Indian companies including Reliance, HPCL, IOCL, and JSW Group, among many
others, honoured Plastivision India 2023.
This is the result of microscopic vision of the Chairman NEC Mr. Harpal singh, Plastivision India
2023 Co-Chairman NEC Dr. Ashutosh Gor and Mr. Chandrakant Turakhi and their Team who
relentlessly worked for over 30-35 months setting aside all their business time, personal &
family time, Holidays, festivals etc. to ensure that Plastivision India 2023 touches the highest bar
of World Plastics Exhibition's so far.
Last but not the least the President, Managing Committee, Office Bearers and Governing Council
who have given their quality time to support the event to achieve the set target.
AIPMA has an exciting line-up of key industry initiatives scheduled for 2024. These initiatives are
aimed at fostering growth, sustainability, and collaboration within the plastic industry. Here's a
brief overview:
1. Financial Conclave in January 2024: AIPMA will host a Financial Conclave in January 2024,
providing a platform for discussions on financial strategies, investments, and opportunities
within the plastic industry. This event aims to facilitate financial growth and stability for
industry stakeholders.
2. Six AIPMA's AMTEC Conferences: The Association will organize the AMTEC Conference
with a focus on enhancing the exports of plastic goods from India. This conference is vital
for exploring strategies to increase international trade and promote Indian plastic products
on a global scale.
3. Mega Plastic Industry Summit in Udaipur in Feb 2024: AIPMA's Mega Plastic Industry
Summit, scheduled to take place in Udaipur, promises to be a significant gathering of
industry leaders, experts, and stakeholders. This summit will likely cover various aspects of
the plastic industry, including innovation, sustainability, and market trends.
4. Mega Job Fairs: To address the employment needs of the industry, AIPMA plans to organize
Mega Job Fairs in 5 cities including Mumbai, Delhi NCR, Ahmedabad, Chennai and Kolkata.
These events will provide a platform for job seekers to connect with potential employers
within the plastic sector, contributing to talent acquisition and industry growth.
5. International Recycling and Sustainability Expo in June 2024: Sustainability is a
pressing concern for the plastic industry. AIPMA's International Recycling and Sustainability
Expo will likely showcase sustainable practices, innovations, and technologies in recycling
within the plastics industry.
