session delivered presentations on their respective products and machineries which can add to the benefits of the plastic
industry and in turn to the environment. Third Session on Sustainability and Circularity of Plastics was very well chaired
by Dr. Vimal Katiyar, Ph.D. Dean, Research & Development & Professor, IIT Guwahati. This session was very much
helpful for the audience as it covered the aspects like circular economy: u nlocking ESG goals and capturing new growth
opportunities, Reuse of plastics: -A pathway to circular economy, Challenges and opportunities in mechanical recycling,
Chemical recycling- pathway to circularity, Plastic Waste - Start-up eco- system in India.
The National Convention 2023 was concluded with a power packed and informative presentation made by Mr. Nandan
Mall, Founder & CMD & Ms. Sriyam Mall, EVP-EPR & Consultancy, Hulladek Recycling Pvt. Ltd., Kolkata.

Thus, National Convention 2023 at The HHI, AJC Bose Road, Kolkata on 6th January 2023 Played a vital role
in contributing towards the betterment of the industry and the environment. The entire conference was impressively
moderated and concluded with a vote of thanks by Mr. Deepak Ballani, Director General, AIPMA.
