           National Convention 2023 on Plastics Recycling, EPR & Waste Management

                                   6th January, 2023 at The HHI, AJC Bose Road, Kolkata

          The All India Plastics Manufacturers’ Association along with the support from Ministry of Chemicals &
          Fertilizers, Department of Chemicals & Petrochemicals, Govt. of India organized National Convention 2023
          On Plastics Recycling, EPR & Waste Management at The HHI, AJC Bose Road, Kolkata.

          The key objectives of National Convention 2023 on Plastics Recycling, EPR & Waste Management were to bring
          together Leaders, CEOs, government authorities, key industry players and subject matter experts from around the
          Plastic Sector in an open dialogue, under one roof to discuss the key developments, To sensitize entire value chain such as
          material providers, converters, brand owners and others, Learn and share best practices, understanding the challenges
          and recent updates made to the EPR guidelines and also EPR portal upgrade related issues, understanding the challenges
          of PWM 2022. To learn and understand the importance of new technology and value of waste creation, addressing key
          challenges of converters, brand owners and end-users, to network and tap business opportunities, bringing together
          the decision-makers on single platform, share ideas and exchange thoughts, identifying the technological gap and other
          relevant opportunities in Plastics Waste Management and Recycling.






















          The Convention was inaugurated with the auspicious Ganesh vandana & Lamp lighting by our Chief Guest Dr. Rajesh
          Kumar, IPS, Member Secretary, West Bengal Pollution Control Board (WBPCB), Kolkata, Shri Deepak Mishra, Joint
          Secretary (PC), Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, Department of Chemicals & Petro-Chemicals, Govt. of India,
          Mr. Chandan Sengupta, Senior Advisor -Marketing & CBT, Haldia Petrochemicals Ltd., Shri Sisir Jalan, President,
          Indian Plastics Federation (IPF), Kolkata, Shri. Mayur D. Shah, President, AIPMA in the presence of Mr. Hiten Bheda,
          Chairman,  Environment  Committee  and  Mr. Ashok Agarwal, Vice  President-  East  Zone, The  All  India Plastics
          Manufacturers’ Association(AIPMA), AIPMA.
