Summary Report - 2nd Global Conclave on Plastic Recycling and
Sustainbility (GCPRS), 17th-20th June, 2025 at Bharat Mandapam, IECC, New Delhi
INTRODUCTION
PURPOSE OF THE REPORT:
This report provides a detailed overview of the 2nd Global Conclave on Plastic Recycling and Sustain-
ability (GCPRS 2025), jointly organized by All India Plastics Manufacturers’ Association and Chemi-
cals and Petrochemicals Manufacturers’ Association. The conclave brought together key stakeholders
from industry, policy, research, and international delegates to foster dialogue and partnerships toward
building a circular economy for plastics.
OVERVIEW OF GCPRS 2025
With participation from over 225 exhibitors and more than 25,000 visitors, GCPRS 2025 has reaf-
firmed its position as a leading platform for promoting sustainable innovation, recycling technologies,
and policy integration towards plastic waste management. The event hosted high-impact sessions,
exhibitions, and technical forums, showcasing advancements in smart packaging, biodegradable alter-
natives, and circular economy models.
DAY 1: Inauguration and CEO Roundtable (17th June 2025)
INAUGURAL FUNCTION
The inaugural function was held on the first day of the conclave. The event was graced by the pres-
ence of Chief Guest Shri Deepak Mishra, Joint Secretary, Department of Chemicals & Petrochemicals
(DCPC), Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers, Ms. Vandana, Director, DCPC; Mr. S.G. Venkatesh, Execu-
tive Director (Petrochemicals), Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. (IOCL); Mr. Malwinder Singh Battu, Head
– Marketing, HMEL; Mr. Manoj Shah, President, AIPMA; Shri Arvind Mehta, GC Chairman, AIPMA; Mr.
Hiten Bheda, Chairman – GCPRS; Mr. Siddharth Shah and Mr. Hanumant Saraf, Co-Chairmen – GCPRS.
International dignitaries H.E. Capaya Rodriguez Gonzalez (Ambassador Venezuela), Mr. Juan Goldnick
Brandt (Counsellor Venezuela) and Mr. M. Riaz Hamidullah (Embassy of Bangladesh) graced the event.
The date of next edition, 3rd GCPRS was announced by Chief Guest Shri Deepak Mishra scheduled
from 2nd to 5th July, 2026.
LAMP LIGHTING CEREMONY
The inaugural function commenced with the traditional lamp lighting ceremony, symbolizing the jour-
ney of enlightenment in the field of plastic recycling and sustainability.
