AIPMA AT WORK
Guest of Honour: Ms. Vandana, Director, Department
of Chemicals & Petrochemicals (DCPC), appreciated the
efforts of the organizers and the industry stakeholders
for coming together to address pressing sustainability
challenges. She highlighted the government's
commitment to enabling responsible plastic use and
supporting innovations that promote circularity. She
remarked:
"The journey toward sustainable plastic management
must be collaborative. The Government is actively
working to create regulatory pathways that balance
growth with environmental protection. Platform like GCPRS are essential for aligning industry practices
with national and environmental priorities."
Guest of Honour: Mr. S.G. Venkatesh, Executive
Director (Petrochemicals), IOCL, highlighted the role of
the petrochemical sector in supporting innovation and
responsible plastic use. He commended AIPMA and
CPMA for creating a unified industry platform.
Special Invitee: Mr. Malwinder Singh Battu, Head of
Marketing at HMEL, emphasized the importance of public-
private partnerships and aligning business with environmental
responsibility.
Following the Chief Guest and Guest of Honour speeches,
Mr. Manoj Shah, President of AIPMA, addressed the audience
and spoke about the industry’s commitment to circularity and
innovation in plastic recycling. He was followed by Shri Arvind
Mehta, GC Chairman, AIPMA, who reflected on the growth
of the conclave and its significance in shaping a sustainable future. Mr. Hiten Bheda, Chairman –
GCPRS, emphasized the role of industry leadership in aligning business objectives with environmental
responsibility. Mr. Siddharth Shah and Mr. Hanumant Saraf, Co-Chairmen – GCPRS, underlined the
conclave’s role in bringing stakeholders together under one roof and fostering strategic collaborations
across the value chain.
