National Convention 2022 on Plastic Recycling & Waste Management Technology -
Creating A Circular & Sustainable Future 20th May, 2022, Ahmedabad
e All India Plastics Manufacturers’ Association along with the support from Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers,
Department of Chemicals & Petrochemicals, Govt. of India organized National Convention 2022 On Plastic Recycling &
Waste Management Technology at Courtyard by Marriott, Ahmedabad.
e key objectives of National Convention 2022 on Plastic Recycling & Waste Management Technology were to bring
together Leaders, CEOs, government authorities, key industry players and subject matter experts from around the Plastic
Sector in an open dialogue, under one roof to discuss the key developments, To sensitize entire value chain such as material
providers, converters, brand owners and others, Learn and share best practices, understanding the new EPR framework, To
learn and understand the importance of new technology and value of waste creation, addressing key challenges of converters,
brand owners and end-users, To network and tap business opportunities, bringing together the decision-makers on single
platform, share ideas and exchange thoughts, identifying the technological gap and other relevant opportunities in Plastics
Waste, Management and Recycling.
During Inaugural, Lamp lighting was done by Padma Shri. Kartikeya Vikram Sarabhai - Founder, Centre for Environment
Education, Mr. S. B. Dangayach - Founder Trustee, Innovative ought Forum, Mr. Sandeep Patel - Chief Executive O cer,
NEPRA Resource Management Pvt. Ltd., Shri. Kishore P. Sampat, President, AIPMA in the presence of Mr. Bhagvanbhai
Patel - President, Gujarat State Plastic Manufacturers Association (GSPMA), Mr. Parag N. Sanghvi - President, Saurashtra
Plastics Manufacturers Association (SPMA), Mr. Dalsukh Vagadiya - President, Dhoraji Plastic Manufacturers Welfare
Association, Mr. Kishorbhai Vaghani, President, South Gujarat Plastic Manufacturer’s Association, Mr. Hiten Bheda,
