Concluding the session, Mr. Anand Phadnis, Industry
Technical Consultant at Siemens Digital Industries Soft-
ware, shared valuable perspectives on mold design and
the latest design techniques aimed at accelerating the
development of First Time Right (FTR) plastic prod-
ucts. His expertise offered a glimpse into the future
of mold design and its pivotal role in ensuring product
quality and efficiency.
Overall, Session 4 provided a stimulating exploration of
the cutting-edge advancements driving the plastic manufacturing industry forward, reaffirming the significance
of innovation in shaping its future trajectory.
The Final Session of the conference was dedicated to "Fiscal Strategies for Growth: Financial Empowerment
of SMEs in the Plastic Sector," aiming to provide valuable insights into financial solutions and strategies crucial
for supporting the growth and development of small and medium-sized enterprises in the plastic industry.
Steering this significant discussion was Mr. Manish Dedhia, President of The All India Plastic Manufacturers’
Association, who adeptly chaired the session.
The session commenced with Mr. Suyesh Pyakurel, Managing Director at MM Group of Companies from
Nepal, offering perspectives on the Future Opportunities of Collaboration between India & Nepal. In his
presentation, he emphasized the transformative potential of viewing used plastic as a valuable resource rather
than mere waste, fostering a paradigm shift in sustainability practices.
Mr. Ravi Mitra, Regional Head at Invoicemart, took the stage next, shedding light on the Revolutionizing MSME
Finance: TReDS, a B2B Marketplace that is transforming dynamics within the plastic industry. Through his
insightful presentation, he elucidated the manifold benefits of the platform for buyers, sellers, and financiers,
underscoring its role in streamlining financial processes and enhancing liquidity.
Following this, Mr. Sumit Garg, Senior Executive Vice
President of SME Sales at Kotak Mahindra Bank, shared
valuable insights on leveraging tech tools for effective
credit and loan management, emphasizing the impor-
tance of data-driven approaches in fostering financial
discipline among SMEs.
Ms. Divya Sharma, Senior Manager – International
Member Relationships & CD at National Stock Ex-
change (NSE) India Ltd., delved into the intricacies
of Foreign Exchange Hedging and Exchange Traded
Currency Derivatives (ETCD), sparking engaging dis-
cussions on currency pair trading, settlement, risk
management, and participation, thus enriching the au-
dience's understanding of financial hedging strategies.
