Greetings from team AIPMA!!
The plastic industry is currently in the midst of a transformation, as businesses shift towards more
sustainable, eco-friendly practices. Consumers are increasingly demanding more sustainable
and eco-friendly options for their products, leading to a surge in research and development
for green plastics and bioplastics. Governments around the world are also introducing stricter
regulations on plastic production, packaging, and waste management, encouraging companies to
move towards a circular economy. This is leading to a shift towards more efficient and resource-
saving production models. As the industry moves forward, it is also investing in innovations such
as biodegradable and compostable materials, as well as furthering research into the recycling of
          plastic materials.

To talk about the new incomings in the industry, one of the most exciting new innovations in
injection moulding is the use of 3D printing technology. This technology can be used in injection
moulding to create intricate, customized parts with very precise dimensions. This technology
also eliminates the need for tooling, meaning that smaller batches of parts can be created
quickly and cost-effectively. In addition, 3D printing can be used to produce parts with complex
geometries that would be difficult or impossible to produce with traditional injection moulding
          methods.

It can be used in injection moulding as a prototyping tool and can be used to quickly produce
parts from a CAD model to determine design parameters, test fit and form, and ensure that the
final injection moulded part is of the highest quality. 3D printing can also be used to produce
small batches of parts prior to injection moulding, allowing for a quick turnaround in production.
Additionally to be used to produce injection moulding tools and components that have complex
geometries and would otherwise be difficult to produce using traditional machining methods.

This new technology is becoming one of the essential part of the Plastic Industry, not only
in Injection moulding but also for automotive parts, medical devices, consumer products and
          electronics, and industrial component.

As the service to the industry, AIPMA is organizing a JOB & CAREER FAIR on 24th JUNE 2023
at AIPMA House Mumbai. The Job Fair is a great opportunity for plastics professionals, technical
or management to meet with potential employers and discuss job openings, career paths, and
          industry trends.

If you have any query regarding the information, feel free to connect with our team at jobfair@
