Odisha. Odisha Government is currently also focusing on
investment from Plastics industry as presently it has PVC
pipes, woven sacks and household item industries in its
state. But As Indian Oil is soon starting its production
from March 2019 with PRODUCTION CAPACITY OF 7,00,000
TONNES PER ANNUM, Government is looking for huge
investment in its Paradip Poly Park for downstream units
and is giving many incentives for new units .
This Conclave had an exhibition hall wherein there were
around 112 exhibitors from all sectors. It was very well
organised Exhibition by the State Government.
The Plastics, Chemicals and Petrochemical session
was chaired by Mr. Deepak Mehta – Chairman, National
Chemical Committee - FICCI AND CMD. It was attended
by some very important personalities. Following were
the persons attended and had given their views regarding
plastic industry.
