Laser cutting and etching is newer technology
that is widely adopted on plastics for precision
cutting and branding. Using laser, manufactur-
ers are able to scribe or create an incision mark
on the plastic components with high precision,
it can be used to create logos or engravings on
plastic products.

This is particularly useful in the packaging indus-
try and product manufacturing where particular-
ity is the order of the day.
7. Robotic Automation

They can consume less energy, produce less
waste and also accommodate a larger number
of materials than conventional recyclers. These
machines play an important role in manufactur-
ing high quality plastics employed in civil struc-

Robotics in plastic manufacturing. In most of the
manufacturing processes, robots are employed
right from acquisition of raw materials right
through to the final product packaging.

They enhance productivity, cut expenses relat-
ed to labor and enhance on safety by assuming
monotonous or risky operations. Besides, auto-
mated systems can achieve consistent quality
standard, which leads to few defects of necessi-
ties such as plastic products.
