AIMPA'S AMTEC AT WORK

As an apex industry body of plastic industry in India, AIPMA’s endeavors include creating and
providing channels of growth and recognition to all its members and industry partners by mutually
benefiting from each other. AIPMA’s AMTEC is the Centre of Excellence launched by The All India
Plastics Manufacturers Association (AIPMA) to empower rapid growth of Indian Plastic Industry.

Highlights of AIPMA’s AMTEC activities in the month of August 2022:

 AIPMA’s AMTEC organized a delegation to SABIC Technology Centre at Bangalore on 17th
August 2022. AIPMA delegation was very impressed by the facilities for product, process and
application development, material characterization and Life Cycle Analysis. This visit would
open many opportunities for AIPMA’s AMTEC to work closely with SABIC on various
technology and application development projects for the benefit of plastic industry in India.

 AIPMA’s AMTEC has launched certified training programme on 3D printing with support of
3D systems, USA. Basic and advanced course on 3D Printing are being offered to students and
young industry professionals.

 AIPMA’s AMTEC has launched Services for 3D Printing & Prototyping for the Industry.

 AIPMA’s AMTEC organizes virtual orientation programs every week for students and Industry
professionals. Attendees are given an update on the on-going and upcoming courses of AIPMA’s
AMTEC

 AIPMA’s AMTEC has signed a MoU with Intertek for Testing Services for the Plastic Industry.
They are a NABL, CPCB Certified Lab. A webinar is being conducted on 23rd Sep to explain
the type of testings’ done and the importance of testing for the Industry.
