Keshav Shrusti Organizes Special Drive On The Occasion Of The
‘Amrit Mahotsav’
n the occasion of 75th Amrit Year Our dedicated vehicle visits every village
Oof Independence, August 15, once in a week. As on date our monthly
2021, a Plastic collection drive ‘Village collection of plastic waste is around 700
to Beach’ was organised in which Uttan KG, however, this shall increase once
village, Pali village were covered wherein outdoor consumption increases.
ABVP students along with 25 volunteers
of Keshav Srushti together collected 16
kg of plastic waste that was deposited.
Moreover on the occasion all the villagers
have taken a vow that they will ensure
the entire village is plastic waste neutral
village.
Govind Jaluka the local coordinator at
Uttan said , “We are exploring a possibility
of installing a shredder, washing unit,
small single scre extruder will palletizer
and hand moulding maching in Keshav
Srushti. This will help us to start an
innovative activity “ Be a plastic recycler
for a day”. We are designing a paver
block making unit. Melting unit is
being fabricated while we shall require
a shredder and a tumble mixing unit.”
Keshav Shrushti is a social service
organization working in various areas of
the society for the last 35 years. Taking
the pains to follow initiatives Swachch
Bharat Keshav Srushti is working over
three years now for creating awareness
on waste and collecting plastic waste
across society in the larger interest by
associating with AIPMA and reaching
the peoplewith its messages "Plastic
Services, Littering Pollutes". Use wisely,
Dispose Responsibly".
Under the campaign recently, five villages
of Uttan area were given bins for plastic
segregation and waste collection have
begun on weekly basis.
Till date more than 12 MT littered plastic
waste has been collected involving school
students, college students and morning
walkers. In a record time of 45 days, we
have made 50 villages plastic neutral.
