Innovations at its best Ajay Desai

The 10th edition of the Plastivision India 2017 was for everyone to see. Hope all of you
would agree to the fact that a lot of efforts goes (months in advance) in planning and
making of such exhibitions. Credit goes to all of them and of course, the exhibitors and Patrons
/ trade visitors without them this would have been impossible.

The exhibition was a success in terms of business trades and yes, it did witnessed some of the best
technological advances be it machinery, chemicals or otherwise.

It would be difficult to discuss all of them but I would like to talk about the new innovation In-Mold labelling
(IML) for IBM showcased by the Indian arm of Jingsu Victor Machinery. Injection Blow Moding Machine
is a special designed machine with a rotary three station index, after perform injection the perform will
be sent to be blow station, then stripped for next processing like washing or filling needed by conveyor.
It is suitable for PE, PP, PS, PET, COC, EVA etc material, bottles with various volumes from 1ml -100ml.

The techno in-mould labeling machine can be used synchronously with a blow moulding machine to a
preprinted polypropylene (PP) label is placed in a mould. Also the machine has heavy-duty m.s.chassis
thereby reducing vibrations and improving the machine’s stability and thereby ensuring vibration-less
operation. The Horiziontal injection system makes for easy operation and reliable plasticing.

Though it has Single cross beam style clamping system for easy mould amounting (for MSZ30/50/60) it also
have a Creative triangular beam style clamping system for less deformation and more stable performance.
(for MSZ 70/95/135) and also support for Big mould dimension.

Entry inside the mould can be given through both parison side as well as blow pin side. With the output
of 2200 (60 ml PP) bottle per hour it has considerable high production rate. The power consumption is
around 9KW / hr. IML can be attached at both the ends of the blow moulding machine. It also provides
the option of Servo rotation device for the improved rotate positioning accuracy along with adapting to
Servo driving system that further helps energy saving from 25% to 45%. The machine is PLC controlled
for making minute adjustment having user friendly operations. In mould Labelling can be done for both
sides of the bottle making the job easier.

The I.B.M. bottle has a perfect neck finish and strict body thickness and weight. It is good for high quality
packing the pharmaceutical cosmetic, house holding, food products packing industrial.

In this issue we have tried to cover most of the happennnigs at the Plastivision 2017. Hope youy enjoy
reading the issue.
