AIPMA AT WORK
Industrial Visit to AIPMA’s AMTEC
Students from Department of Electronics and Telecommunication, Atharva College of Engineering, Malad West have visited
AIPMA’s AMTEC premises for industrial visit purposes on 29th August 2022.
Mr. Jayesh Rambhia, co-chairman AIPMA’s AMTEC gave a brief introduction to the students and spoke about the
environmental initiatives taken by AIPMA. Ms. Ameya Jadhav, Center Head AIPMA’s AMTEC spoke in detail about the
different courses offered in AMTEC. Mr. Jayesh Rambhia interacted with students regarding their interest in the training
programs offered by AIPMA’s AMTEC. He also guided them on how these training programs will add a competitive edge to
their portfolio and how they can stand out in a competition.
In the AMTEC Design Lab and 3D Printing Lab, students were shown how specific designs are created on the Nx Cad
Software and can be then printed on the 3D Printer. Students were given a brief about the various training programs and their
career advantages. Brief about the packaging program was also given in the meeting room.
From AMTEC, the students were taken for a factory visit to M/s Ganesh Plastics where they were shown about the injection
molding process. The entire process was explained by Mr. Jayesh Rambhia, and the students left empowered with knowledge
and safety goggles that were handed out by M/s Ganesh Plastics as a token take away.
Total 29 students along with one faculty visited AIPMA’s AMTEC. Around 10 students have registered themselves on the
spot for future programs.
AMTEC Chairman- AIPMA Governing council Mr. Arvind Mehta was invited as a special guest in
RESPACK 2022 an initiative by Foundation for Innovative Packaging and Sustainability(FIPS).
