INTRODUCTION:
Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises has introduced various Schemes to promote MSMEs. Most of the
MSMEs are not aware of these Schemes and benefits which can be claimed by them. For clarification under which
definition you are registered please refer above table No.1. We thank Mr.R.B. Gupte, Director – MSME-DI, Ministry
of MSME, Government of Indiahave been kind enough to provide us the various Schemes of MSMEs. We reproduce
a few schemes, applicable to common Category of MSMEs.
A) SME DIVISION SCHEMES:

Description Capital grant for creation/strengthening of infrastructure and support for conducting
EDP/ESDP training
Nature of assistance Maximum assistance of Rs.150 lakh not exceeding 50% of project cost on matching
basis
