AIPMA AT WORK

Government-industry partnership is critical: Central and state government policies, FTAs, MSME
support programmes and industry initiatives need to work together to convert export potential into
           actual business.

Stronger buyer connectivity is required: Platforms such as Plastiworld can help bridge the gap between
Indian manufacturers and international buyers and create opportunities for repeat business.

The ultimate objective is repeat global business The goal is not simply to create more exporters, but
to develop thousands of Indian companies that become reliable, long-term global suppliers.

           Way Forward
The Lucknow conference provided a clear message: India has the manufacturing capability,
entrepreneurial talent and increasingly supportive policy environment required to become a global
sourcing hub for plastics and packaging. The opportunity now is to convert capability into scale,
market access into business and exporters into repeat global suppliers.

For Uttar Pradesh, the conference represents an opportunity to build a focused plastics and packaging
export ecosystem by leveraging its ODOP approach, MSME base, infrastructure, improving investment
           climate and growing industrial capabilities.

For AIPMA, the conference reinforces its commitment to creating practical platforms for the industry
through initiatives such as Plastiworld and GCPRS, while pursuing the larger ambition of building India's
plastics and packaging industry into a US$50 billion export powerhouse.
The message of the conference can be summed up in one call:

MAKE IN INDIA – MAKE FOR THE WORLD.
