THE PRESIDENT SAYS

Another significant initiative during the period was the successful organization of PlastiWorld Kenya
2026 by the AIPMA Export Cell at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC), Nairobi.

The exhibition was inaugurated by Mr. Amardeep K. Barnwal, Head of Chancery and Second Secretary
(Commerce), High Commission of India, Nairobi. Featuring more than 120 Indian exhibitors, the event
provided a dedicated B2B platform for manufacturers of packaging, kitchenware, houseware and con-
sumer plastic products to connect with verified international buyers. It also offered valuable insights
into international compliance requirements and facilitated business opportunities in the fast-growing
East African market, further strengthening the global outreach of the Indian plastics industry.

The success of GCPRS 2026, the international outreach through PlastiWorld Kenya, and the ongoing
preparations for Plastivision India 2027 collectively highlight the industry's continued focus on sustain-
ability, technology adoption and global market expansion.

                                                                                                      Mr. Sunil Shah
