India’s plastic finished product exports within three years. The launch symbolised a collective com-
mitment by industry leaders, policymakers, and stakeholders to drive innovation, compliance, and
sustainability, while seizing emerging global market opportunities.

Shri Dixit shared his entrepreneurial journey and
highlighted India’s low manufacturing costs as a
competitive advantage. He called for greater em-
phasis on quality, global certifications, R&D, pat-
ents, and sustainable practices to strengthen the
“Made in India” brand and expand into new mar-
kets.

Shri Deepak Mishra commended AIPMA’s focus
on export strategies, discussed opportunities aris-
ing from FTAs with the UK, EU, Australia, and New
Zealand, and stressed the need for certification,
quality control, and environmental responsibility.

Shri Lakshmikumaran explained the strategic benefits of FTAs, the importance of Rules of Origin com-
pliance, and recommended creating a think tank within AIPMA for targeted export policy engagement.
