Shri Jain presented India’s overall export per-
formance and plastics’ share of the global mar-
ket. He stressed the importance of leveraging
FTAs, brand building, and international trade
fair participation. He recommended establish-
ing an Export Incubation Centre within AIPMA
to provide exporters with market intelligence
and buyer connections.

Dr. Satyendra Kumar called for a holistic ap-
proach, combining cost competitiveness,
sustainability, and quality enhancement. He
highlighted opportunities in recycled content
products and advised aligning with global reg-
ulatory requirements, especially in eco-friendly
product categories.

Topic-Role of Polymer Producers

Mr. Satish Awate described how polymer pro-
ducers contribute to export growth through
consistent supply, competitive pricing, and col-
laborative R&D. He highlighted compliance as-
sistance, sustainability initiatives, and the need
for strong partnerships between polymer pro-
ducers and processors to double capacity by
2030.
