The deputy Chief minister highlighted the transformation of Uttar Pradesh
over the past decade, pointing to major improvements in infrastructure,
electricity availability, education, healthcare, irrigation and industrial
development. He noted the development of major expressways, including
the Ganga, Delhi and Bundelkhand Expressways, and stated that the

Pradesh, addressing the gathering state has moved from power shortages to becoming an electricity-
exporting state. Uttar Pradesh has also made significant progress in
medical education and healthcare, school enrolment and agricultural production. He emphasised that
the state's position as a major producer of wheat, milk and sugar would itself generate substantial
demand for plastics and packaging.
He also highlighted the state's improved law-and-order environment, single-window clearances and
willingness to modify policies and laws where necessary to support development. The establishment
of the BrahMos manufacturing facility, drone production and the state's strong GST collection were
cited as examples of growing industrial confidence. He assured the industry of government support
and encouraged plastics companies to consider Uttar Pradesh as an investment and manufacturing
destination.
The deputy Chief minister also highlighted Uttar Pradesh's growing tourism potential, including
Ayodhya and Vrindavan, and invited delegates to explore the state's cultural, religious and natural
attractions. He referred to the state's One District One Product (ODOP) initiative and its newer One
District One Cuisine (ODOC) concept, reflecting the state's effort to promote the distinctive strengths
of each district.
